Review: Heart of Obsidian

Step into New York Times bestseller Nalini Singh’s explosive and shockingly passionate Psy-Changeling world…
A dangerous, volatile rebel, hands stained bloodred.
A woman whose very existence has been erased.
A love story so dark, it may shatter the world itself.
A deadly price that must be paid.
The day of reckoning is here.
From “the alpha author of paranormal romance” (Booklist) comes the most highly anticipated novel of her career—one that blurs the line between madness and genius, between subjugation and liberation, between the living and the dead.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

again and again and again... i find again my favourite from this series!

well, and i was not bore when read it. Eventhough there were some parts i wanted to skip, but overall i love it!

so much mystery here, from the start. Almost all the time when i read this book, i wondered what was the relationship between Kaleb and Sahara. Kaleb? the one we know so Silence and never though he would ever have any kind of bond with someone. But Sahara was the only one mattered for him, Sahara who his everything. So this woman had that kind of strenght againts Kaleb, the most dangerous man from PsyNet, the most powerfull person who became a Counciler at 27 y.o.

And I cried a lot. I cried for Kaleb by Sahara's POV. I cried when Sahara finally remembered who was Kaleb for her. I like part when Sahara so suspious with Kaleb, but finally she knew how much her love for him when finally could remember him. I like it so muuch, i like this story which was about a woman who forgot the one she loved so much. And Kaleb fight for her in 7 years. And Sahara, even in her uncounsious, even when she forgot, she always fight for him too, to keep alive for him.

Both of them made me so much wanted to cry. I couldn't stand with the torture of their past. I wanted to hug both of them, and pray for their happiness. Different from previous book, this is about Psy and Psy. So there were so much things between both of them people would never know and never understand. There were so much darkness, bad memories, traumatism, but that also what made their bond became stronger.

Maybe there were some people from Sahara's family would always protected her. But Kaleb, no one cared about him even from he was still so child. So when Sahara found him, she wanted to be the one who always care for him, so that he would never felt alone. So that, he always knew there were someone who would sad if he was dead, even if that was only one person. Then, Sahara who came for him, who cared too much for him like no one else, became his world and his everything. And both of them would do everything for each other. That's the reason why i took so much time to cry for them..

This is my favourite couple again, and i started to confused who was my most favourite couple in this series. Nalini always make something new in her book so it is easy for me to love each character she make. I still want more story, but maybe because before i really wanted to read this book and finally here i have read this, maybe i will again take some break from this series.. I'm sorry but i will come back soon to continue! Bcause i'm so in love with this series and i will feel more delight if there is the indonesian version after Dorian story. I don't know whether still will be the indonesian version or not, but i hope so much. I want to read again in Indonesian so maybe i will fully understand many parts i hard to understand because the vocabulary...
