This book is really good!!!
Although in the beginning I was wondering, how could the story was about pirates, but when the story had entered the main problem when Drew was arrested, the story became increasingly difficult to ignore.
As written in the synopsis, 'who is charming and who is captive', in this novel I often asked who was the hell actually the true captain here?. I really like Gabrielle who were kind and unyielding. I love these characters like Gabby, she did not have prejudice to others and she was very easy to forgive, she could always read all situations, and immediately straighten out misunderstandings. She was also brave, honest, and always tried to reverse the situation if the situation was not in accordance with her will.
Drew figure appeared quite annoying coupled with its reputation of 'a lover in every port', but it never made Gabby lied to herself that she was not too concerned with that reputation. She had the willpower to change the Drew and saw things from the positive side, the things I admired about this heroine since Drew was very, very annoying.
Their interactions that were always spiced debate was always interesting to follow. In fact I really liked the humor of Gabby and how she was always able to answer all the words that hurt if directed at ordinary woman. But it turned out that Gabby had always managed to overcome them.
