Somewhere I'll Find You (Capital Theatre, #1)

Synopsis:
The toast of the town...

All London is at Julia Wentworth's feet—and anything she desires is hers for the asking. But the glamorous leading lady guards a shocking secret: a mystery husband whom she does not know, dares not mention ... and cannot love.
For years Damon Savage has been searching for the stranger his parents wed him to without his consent, hoping to legally free himself from matrimony's invisible chains. And he is astonished to discover his "bride" is none other than the exquisite lady he'd hoped to make his mistress! But though his wife by law, Julia will never truly be Damon's—until he conquers her fears, his formidable rivals ... and her proud, passionate, and independent heart.

My Review:
3,5 stars

a bit confused too would love star how, because want to comment too confused hahaha

This novel was nice. The novel is still cool to read and I enjoyed it. I was taken a pounding throughout the story. I also like the tug of the Julia here. I like the defense of the weak. Julia weak when it's dealing with Damon and exceptional sensitivity because it can directly interpret the feelings felt.

The fact that both of them were married from childhood is a major problem that made Julia continue to avoid Damon though her heart said another, and she was fully aware of it. And until the end, the problem was still there and just only there I think. About Julia fears of the loss her freedom.

I wanted to give 4 stars for this book, because throughout this book made me pounding. It's just the attitude of Julia that were too scared to let go of that freedom rather bored me. Fortunately there were many events that could make Julia always honest in front of Damon and Damon attitude had always managed to make Julia was tempted to give up everything.

It's just ... well, I just a bit could not enjoy the climax because the main point of story just only 'that'. Dilemma between loneliness or with Damon but  loss of  her freedom. Only that the conflict until end. Fortunately Damon's surrendered at the end finally made Julia realized that Damon could be everything even if Julia would relinquish her freedom.

So, everything's fine. Julia just did not dare to try and compromise. That was all. And I fortunately satisfied with the ending. At least there was  an explanation that Julia got married to Damon become more than she had imagined. And they were happy. That's all, I want to give hug for Damon's patience and his love that unusually large so that it could give anything to Julia. And fortunately for contagious of Damon love that finally Julia also did not mind eliminating some activities in the theater. All ends happily. Happy Ending. And I like the ending.

edit:
geez ... I almost forgot if this book this was book of Lisa  not Julia. No wonder there's no element of humor.
